All our woodland sessions are led by a Level 3 Forest school practitioner (Bonnie or Kate) and we have appropriate insurance in place for our activities. All activities are risk assessed, and we are happy to share these if you wish to see them. Kate and Bonnie have enhanced DBS checks and up-to-date outdoor first aid qualifications. Sometimes we might need to substitute another leader for a session, but it will always be led by either Kate or Bonnie, and the other leader will be suitably qualified and working within our risk assessments and safeguarding policy.
Kate is a registered walk leader for Walk Derbyshire and both Bonnie and Kate have completed their Natural Mindfulness Guide training. Bonnie is also a Relax Kids coach.

We can offer children’s sessions in the woods to any child who is one academic term past their 5th birthday; for example, if your child is 5 in October, we can accept to have them attend a session from January.
It is possible to pay for our children’s sessions using your childcare vouchers or tax free childcare scheme, get in touch if you would prefer to pay using this option.
